Celebrating Lovecraft [Storytelling]

Starting on the date of his birth, Celebrating Lovecraft by Michael Ward looks at the works of the famous author HP Lovecraft, and gives us a radio adaptation of his novella: The Case of Charles Dexter Ward (no relation).

After a discussion about Lovecraft's life and the themes in his stories, we begin our radio adaptation.

Presented here is the prologue, introducing to the listener the titular Charles Dexter Ward, the resolute Dr Willet, and enigmatic figure of Joeseph Curwen.

Patrick Widdess presents 2 hours of music and spoken word.
With poetry, stories and a truly eclectic mix of tunes, Headstand is never predictable.

May contain some adult content

This month features more local music and poetry as well as music and spoken word from further afield. Also multi-media artist Charles Billard presents a half hour mix of improvised music created with samples, effects and homemade instruments.
